Philippe Goulley is highly recognised as the Bio pioneer of Chablis. The quality of his Chardonnay grapes is regularly so convincing that he develops his wines cleanly and brilliantly without wood or other aids that change the natural character of the grapes. The delicious roasted aromas, which make especially young wines so seductive, are in the grapes.
This village Chablis reveals fresh aromas of ripe lemons, lemon curd and minerally reminiscence of oyster shell. The palate is dry with supple acidity followed by the same citrus flavours recollected on the aromatic bouquet. Good minerality and intensity complete the overall experience.
