Château Couronneau - Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge 2021

The vineyard of Château Couronneau complies to the most demanding organic and biodynamic cultivation requirements. (Ecocert 1999 accreditation and Demeter 2012 certified) Since 2004, the major focus has been on water and waste efficiency, as well as reducing CO2 emissions from their activities.

According to the Hachette wine guide, "the appearance of this Bordeaux supérieur is a rich and deep purple colour." At first, a very rich nose that is a little tight, but gradually opens up with spicy notes like cloves and liquorice that mingle with candied fruit flavours like prune. On the palate, there is a direct and forceful approach that displays a tight yet covered tannic structure before a lengthy and exquisite finish.
