Barahonda is located in the Yecla Denomination of Origin, in the Altiplano region, a transition zone between the plateau and the Mediterranean surrounded by a ring of low hills and mountains. In recent years the small D.O. Yecla has gained rapid recognition for the peculiar character and quality of its wines made with the native variety Monastrell. Currently, D.O. Yecla houses about 6,500 hectares of vineyards.
Barahonda Blanco is renowned for its high fruit fragrance, fresh mouthfeel, floral undertones, and long, well-balanced finish.
