Domaine Huguenot - Marsannay Heritage 2020

Domaine Huguenot Père & Fils is a family-run Domaine in the village of Marsannay-la-Côte, in the north of the Côte de Nuits, near Dijon. Managed today by Philippe Huguenot, who represents the 10th generation of wine growers, the vineyards extend over terroirs in the Marsannay, Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin appellations. The estate has been conducting its production in sustainable agriculture for many years.

This wine begins with notes of redcurrant, red fruits (sour cherry, strawberry), and sweet spices. It's rather bright, energetic, and well-built, thanks to a stunning precision and a remarkable regard for the fruit. The palate impact is robust and generous, and it is balanced by a rich, long finish.
