ABOUT THE MAKER:
For over 40 years, the Buganza family has been producing and bottling quality wines from the Langhe and Roero, in the heart of Piedmont. The winery features 50-year-old vineyards and extends over 35 hectares. Vineyards are still manually worked, and picking is carried out with the utmost attention, selecting the highest quality bunches to produce the best wine.
ABOUT THE WINE:
Coclico' is an orange wine that follows the rural tradition of the Roero Arneis wines of maceration. The 'Orange' version was abolished in 1990 by the regional designation, Renato Buganza's son Emanuele is successfully continuing this old-time tradition. Yellow straw colour with ancient gold reflections. The nose is complex and harmonious, an explosion of citrus notes, dried fruit and fennel seeds. poppy and acacia flowers. Intense and elegant with distinct minerality and good sapidity. Long finish elegant and balanced.
