D'Arenberg The Sensorial Surfer Fiano 2023

Since 1912 the Osborn family have tended vineyards in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Today fourth generation family member Chester makes distinctive wines using traditional and sustainable methods both in the vineyard and the winery. From entry level to iconic, d’Arenberg wines are basket pressed with red wines placed in small batch open fermenters and foot trod. Known for an eclectic portfolio of oddly named wines and a bold red stripe that adorns each bottle, the range is considerable with over 70 wines and 36 grape varieties, with styles that incvlude white, red, fortified, sparkling & dessert. In 2017, construction was completed on the d'Arenberg Cube, a now landmark five storey multi-function building set amounst the Mouvedre vines.

Tasting Note: A beautiful pale straw colour. The lovely honey-suckle and spicey perfume leads towards more tropical fruits, honey dew melon, stonefruit, and a refreshing green mango undercurrent, with a hint of pear.
