Located in Victoria's South Yarra Valley, Zilzie Wines is owned and operated by the Forbes family. After growing grapes for nearly three decades for some of Australia's best-known wineries, the Zilzie winery came into existence in 1999. The brand launched its first vintage in 2000.
This Victorian shiraz reveals a bouquet of black pepper and toasty oak with fruit aromas of ripe raspberry and strawberry jam. Juicy, with raspberry and lucisous dark berries, cinnamon and a touch of anise. Rounded texture, with plenty of fruit sweetness coating the palate.
