Tellurian Grenache Shiraz Mouvedre 2019

Family-owned and organically certified, growing and crafting wines in the heart of Heathcote in Central Victoria. The Tellurian vineyards roll down the slopes from the Mount Camel ranges , thriving in warm days and cool nights. Founded by Ian Hopkins in 2002, Tellurian are driven to make benchmark wines that showcase the unique site above the vein of red Cambrian soil that has evolved over 550 million years. Inspired by Rhone varieties including shiraz, grenache, mouvedre, marsanne, rousanne and viognier as well as Italian wines nero d'avola and fiano which are perfectly suited to the climate.

Tasting Note: Light plum-red in colour. Lifted aromas of raspberry, cherry, plum and wild strawberry combine with subtle savoury, earthy notes. Medium bodied palate highlighted by vibrant red fruits, elegant texture and mouthfeel, with soft, plush tannins and well balanced acidity providing a moreish finish.
